Dear Parents, Welcome back! I hope your summer was a pleasant and restful one. Our summer was busy but productive. The Religious Education building was painted inside and out; the roofs were repaired and the rooms and floors were cleaned. So, it pleases us to welcome the children back to a clean and healthy environment! On a more academic and spiritual level, we are pleased to announce that our "Protecting God's Children" program will continue this year and each teacher will teach an age appropriate curriculum for his/her grade. If you want to know more about the program, please call me and we'll arrange an appointment to review and discuss the diocesan requirements. We are also implemening a new program for special needs children who will be preparing to receive the sacraments when they are ready to do so! Jesus said, "Let the children come to me." So, I am especially happy to welcome our new students. It's going to be a busy year preparing for Reconcilliation, Communion and Conmfirmation, but the staff and I have a few surprises that will make it a fun year as well. If you have the time, please join us on Sunday mornings or Tuesday evenings. Help is always needed and appreciated. Feel free to stop in to say hello anytime! God bless, Marie Hurley Director of Religious Education |
